Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal M&A Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong transactional experience, particularly in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and regulatory bodies to support strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessment on potential M&A and investment targets.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of M&A-related documentation including Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Shareholders’ Agreements, Business Transfer Agreements, and related ancillary contracts.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, tax, compliance) and external counsel during deal execution.
Support structuring of deals from a legal, regulatory, and commercial perspective.
Maintain and update deal documentation, trackers, and contract databases.

Qualifications

LL.B. from a reputed law school; LL.M. is a plus.
2–5 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on M&A, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Solid understanding of Indian corporate, contract, and securities law.
Strong legal drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
